Encouraging the Study of Arkansas Women's History

The Arkansas Women’s History Institute is a non-profit organization founded in 1983 to encourage the study of Arkansas women’s history and to promote public awareness of the contributions women have made in the development of our state. The institute continues to collect the unwritten history of the women of Arkansas.  Our Board Members come from diverse backgrounds and regions of the state.
